In a time when many people feel disconnected, something as simple as a shared meal can be transformative.
This September, the City of Wheat Ridge is setting one long table for 300 people to bring community members together for an afternoon of food, conversation, and connection. Wheat Ridge’s Longer Table will take place on Sunday, September 27, from noon to 2 p.m. at The Green at 38th (7101 W. 38th Avenue).
More than just a meal, the event is an opportunity for residents to meet someone new, strengthen community ties, and celebrate what makes Wheat Ridge special. The vision is simple but powerful: to turn strangers into neighbors and neighbors into friends.
Advanced registration is required. Learn more, reserve your seat, or register to volunteer on What’s Up Wheat Ridge.

Wheat Ridge LONGER TABLE

1 Table + 300 Seats = A Stronger Community

About Longer Tables and 150 Tables Across Colorado

Longer Tables is a Denver-based nonprofit organization that helps cities, companies, and organizations set tables in their community to bring people from all walks of life together to create connection and belonging through meals, because humans flourish when they feel seen, known and included.

150 Tables Across Colorado is part of a growing movement to create spaces where people can connect beyond surface-level interactions. Across cities and towns, organizers are setting tables that bring together diverse groups of people to share a meal and engage in intentional, meaningful conversation. The goal is simple but powerful: to turn strangers into neighbors and neighbors into friends.
