We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help pack weekend food sacks for children in need through the Feeding the Future program — a vital initiative run by Community Table that ensures hungry kids get nutritious meals over the weekends when school lunches aren’t available.
Your quick volunteer opportunity:
- Location: Stevens Elementary School (7101 W 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge — at 38th & High Ct.)
- When: Every Thursday during the school year (with WRBA groups often coordinating on the 1st Thursday and any 5th Thursdays of the month)
- Time: Arrive by 8:20 a.m. — check in at the school office (most sessions wrap up in 30 minutes or so)
- What you’ll do: Simple, fun assembly-line packing of food sacks — the more hands we have, the faster and more enjoyable it gets!
