Honoring Max
The Max Plumb Memorial Golf Tournament, now in its 6th year, is more than a day on the course. Hosted by the Applewood Community Foundation, this heartfelt event brings neighbors together to uplift youth, support schools, and invest in stronger, healthier communities.
Thanks to generous donors and sponsors, the Foundation has contributed nearly $100,000 to the Jefferson Center, establishing the Max Plumb Scholarship Fund. Since 2023 the ACF has used funds raised as a match on Colorado Gives Day, which has raised an additional $250,000 to contribute to the Jefferson Center for Mental Health, now simply “The Jefferson Center”. The Max Plumb Scholarship Fund directly support clients in the Residential Recovery Program—offering real help and real hope.
