WRPD Citizen Police Academy: Wednesdays, April 1st – May 20th, 2026
The Wheat Ridge Police Department is proud to announce that it will be hosting the next session of its Citizen Police Academy. The purpose of the Citizen Police Academy is to give community members who live and/or work in the City of Wheat Ridge an opportunity to learn first-hand about the inner workings of the Wheat Ridge Police Department. Police and civilian personnel will present lectures and demonstrations to give Citizen Police Academy participants an understanding of the department’s mission, practices, and operations.
