Jefferson Center Residential Recovery Program opportunity
The Residential Recovery program at Jefferson Center is an inpatient program that cares for individuals with substance use issues or substance use combined with mental health challenges. The program provides clinical treatment combined with activities that offer support and learning opportunities in areas that address trauma and addiction, developing interpersonal skills, and family understanding of co-occurring disorders. The duration of treatment varies with the severity of the individual’s illness and response to treatment. Their progress toward achieving their treatment plan goals and objectives determines the length of stay and services.
As clients move on from the program to the next step in their treatment, we provide backpacks filled with essentials like toiletries, undergarments, seasonal clothing, and bus passes to take with them, since more than 60% of those who enter the program do so with little more than the clothes on their backs.
With the winter months approaching, the program is in need of winter apparel for both men and women (boots, jackets, scarves, mittens/gloves). Bring your donation items to the next WRBA meeting as the member representative will be present to receive them.
